From a game design standpoint it’s the player deciding who Guybrush is but from a storytelling standpoint every choice is still Guybrush And it makes me spin in circles and jump for joy

I love monkey island I love thinking about how player choices informs the character Guybrush becomes and how all of those choices are still part of the same character and in turn that makes him so well rounded
