You’d think a company would ensure these folks would be set for life yet all they got was a thank you for your service, a severance package and see ya later.
So upsetting.
I can’t comprehend it. These are the folks who have created the first visuals for every. Single. Marvel Studios film. Ever.
A really small team of people, some have been there for over a decade.
They are a HUGE part of Marvel Studios’s success, to just be let go like that?

Devastated to hear the entire Marvel Studios’s Visual Development team has been let go. This was my old home but more importantly, the home of so many incredible artists and peers.

Forever ago, there was a facebook group called spitpaint with a daily theme which I'd try to do at lunch.
I dont think I could do this now, I was painting a lot of key art at the time, these were a lovely throw away break from more high fidelity work, a place to try out ideas.
