It's wild to me that not only is tumblr still alive & kicking, a lot of ancient comics on there are still circulating? Tonight Hsthete, my 7-year-old comic about getting your week ruined and your life saved by a hot goat lesbian, somehow just crossed 400,000 notes 😦 www.tumblr.com/melgillman/8...

Jesus christ that sounds like hell
The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. It very much was a right time right place for me to read it but it helped me snap out of a mental spiral I was in. Also reread Maus and it really hit me differently than when I read it 10+ years ago.
When playing certain games, you gotta ask yourself
Am I enjoying this or am I making ice cubes?
You deserve better than ice cubes.
Dandelions and I will die on the hill that they're only considered a weed because they're "undesirable". As a bullied kid I bonded with them like Pigeons and Rudolph. I also like Forget me nots a lot.
I'm one of those trans women. I worked ground ops for Artemis I.
I am torn between celebrating the success of my friends and peers and grieving how my dream of working for NASA was shattered by hateful assholes in Tallahassee
Ok I understand the hype. And they looked fun to draw

perennial reminder that you cannot stop war crimes by posting about them and gluing yourself to the screen will only traumatize you. call reps or do mutual aid or play videogames, but don't doomscroll pointlessly because you're trapped in a sense of helplessness and guilt. give yourself room to live
NASA isn't why the US doesn't have universal healthcare, or a social safety net. The US doesn't have those things because politicians with the power to provide them choose specifically not to (with varying levels of support from voters). Enthusiasm for human spaceflight doesn't drive that choice.

I getcha! Sorry should have specified I didn't mean you, was agreeing.
I made a little Instagram reel about this image because it’s just so frickin’ cool
Ooof that SUCKS. Every time I've been able to do a 4 day work week it's been great. I wish it was the norm.
Legit been thinking of making a neocities and try using it to post just whatever. My crafts, art, idk. Probably will burn out and it'll die quickly.
I genuinely don't see anything wrong with man buns.
My roommate put on these two last week and we've really been enjoying them. Read the YouTube comments if you want some genuine fun.
Found out about them recently and they are amazing. Thanks for the link to their band camp, not all of their music is on YouTube music and I forgot to search other means.
Why must you bring me me back to my "I want to get a good grade but I suck at fitness. Oh god I can't breathe and my chest burns" trauma
To explain the trailer was full English and we didn't know Brendan Fraser could speak Japanese. I realized while watching trailers before the movie this might happen and yup.
Thank goodness there were only two other people in the theater and they were a few rows behind us, @piizog.bsky.social had to whisper translations to me for the most important plot stuff so I could follow the movie. Thankfully I understood enough Finnish that I could follow some stuff without help
But I saw it as the person I am now and it got me hard. I'd say more but I think you should go and watch it yourself. I'm definitely going to re-watch it because we did not expect that it was in English and Japanese and uh.... Theaters in Finland have subtitles only in Finnish and Swedish.
Rental Family made me tear up and almost full cry in the theater, had a good cry at home. Though I think it's because of family trauma reasons, but also partially the movie is heartfelt. Usually I'd roll my eyes at some stuff, if I saw it a few years ago I'd probably see it differently.
Hoppers was a fun ride and I like how wild it was. Some aspects I wish were pushed further but I enjoyed it a lot.
Recently saw Hoppers and Rental Family because I had culture work benifits I used up at my last job to buy movie tickets and they were about to expire. Highly recommend both.
My mom LOVED to push my buttons and make me angry so she could yell at me and punish me for talking back. Anyway, been feeling a lot more emotional as of late (mainly wanting to cry, which I used to almost never do unless pushed by my mom and step-dad in arguments) so it's been a weird wild ride.
