He's also a terrible CEO, and tries to run the country the same way he tried to run his companies.
My friend, the late 90's video game industry was one wild fever dream that we all shared.
I did that twice and ended up with a dozen or so Pokémon of different flavors. I made the mistake of giving most of them to my girlfriend at the time, who probably threw them out when I broke up with her months later. At least I had the foresight to keep Pikachu for myself. Thanks for reading! (4/4)
After observing a few rounds, I took action on my strategy: when the cannon paused its rotation in my general direction, I jumped up and spread out my limbs as it fired. A bunch of the tiny plushes would hit me and fall to the floor, and I scooped them up. (3/)
@colinwilliamson.bsky.social is not exaggerating. The Pokémon cannon caused riots. I laughed at watching grown adults in business outfits crawling on the floor to try to snatch just one of these each time the cannon fired. (2/)
You forgot to mention the best part, @colinwilliamson.bsky.social. These flip inside-out to become a Pokéball! But let's talk about how I ended up with a dozen of these at that fateful E3 in 1998. (1/)
My responses might be interesting, because I'm a Humble Bundle Slut, but actually rarely play games on PC/SteamDeck.
I made a point to play through Doki Doki Literature Club two Halloweens ago, and despite knowing the major twist, it still managed to shock me at times. I really enjoyed playing it, and I think about it once in a while. Give it a shot - it's not a long game, but the first 1/3 is a slog.
Did you read the book? The source material is excellent, and already written like a movie. I'm seeing the movie hoping it does the book justice.
Isn't that kind of Dead Rising?
I do see your point about Bloodstained being disjointed... And maybe I'm biased because my name is in the credits, and I played it to death after such a long wait.
I felt Nintendo was overrepresented in my list, which bumped Zelda out. As got Capcom, I love a lot of their stuff and thought of putting Mega Man in the list, but I just haven't been playing through much of their titles on PS4/PS5.
Haha! That was the hardest one for me to include. But it's Iga's comeback and I played through it on a modern console. I guess? Alternately I might have included Silent Hill f, but that could be recency bias.
My9Games: 1) Castlevania Symphony of the Night, 2) Star Fox, 3) Super Mario Bros 3, 4) Super Metroid, 5) Animal Crossing New Horizons, 6) Dance Dance Revolution, 7) Rage Racer, 8) Bloodstained Ritual of the Night, 9) The Sims 2.
This was tough to solidify, but my #1 game of all time is there, along with the game that kicked off my game career. Criteria: I played through the whole game, and it's a benchmark I still use today against other games. Also strove for platform diversity... kinda... my9games.com/s/da3357d156...
I haven't seen this one! It's amazing! I'd love to hear about the Easter eggs you hid in the crowd.

Nice guys who love games don't always make good leaders for a game company. If the business falters, it's a leader's fault, no matter what layer was the point of failure.
I don't wish Phil ill, and I'm sure he's going to be fine.

Everyone last week: OMG so excited for some nostalgic gaming!
This week: My eyes hurt.

How often do Valentine's Day, Washington's birthday, Lunar New Year, Ramadan, and Ash Wednesday all fall on the same week?

Hail and thunder in the Bay Area signifies something catastrophic, I'm sure.

The Kindle was the first format that got me to switch to digital media. Holding my newborn with one hand meant I had one hand left to flip pages, which is prohibitive on a physical book but oh so simple on an ebook.
Too bad Amazon went and got all evil.
