Pleased to say this exceeded my (already high) expectations, absolutely love what Ethel Cain put together here
Beautifully orchestrated and written throughout, and each track has so much time to fully unfold
For sure an AOTY contender, and my favorite studio release of the year

Most listened music in May!
I made a long list of anticipated first listens, and over the past few weeks here's what I've heard from that list so far
Thought pretty much all of these were great and excited to revisit them! they showcase some completely unique sounds and ideas I've never really heard before
Music I played most in April! Finally starting to get back on the first listen grind, probably the best month of new discoveries so far this year
What are your favorites from here?
I knew that cover looked familiar
Really blown away by basically everything in this piece and this entire compilation so far
May even want to try learning this movement we'll see
Blows me away every single time

Overall, great album! While BC,NR's past ideas bleed into this one, I like that they keep expanding their sound. Feels a little too scattered as a full listen to quite match what they've done before, but hearing musicians this talented is still worth the experience
Beautiful beautiful movie
Been slacking on new music but have been watching a lot of great movies so far this year!
These are my 25 favorite first watches, lmk what your favorites are here
Also will link the list in a comment as I'll be updating it constantly as the year goes on
Is it crazy to think this might be the best song on Townes Van Zandt's self titled?
Despite this album's title, there's no way I could have prepared myself for how astoundingly good this closing track is
Just finished the third book of this series last night, and I couldn't be more excited to start the final book
So far it's been such an amazing experience to follow Elena's and Lila's stories in all their pain, honesty, and intricacy
All 4 of these pieces have grown on me massively this week, such a masterful level of playing I can't even begin to comprehend
I'm really grateful an album this joyful and soulful exists
She sounds amazing on this wow
here are my favorite albums by black artists in honor of Black History Month ♡

Haha honestly that's a great idea once they expand the game further
May be some rough parts at the start but I'm super hyped either way to play it next week
Fantastic album
While some people tend to overstate the so-called "magic" or "divinity" of Mozart's music, I totally feel that in about 5 separate moments of Piano Concerto No. 23
There is something really special about this piece to me, moreso than many other Mozart works I love as well
I hate seeing AI generated images in general, but it really annoys me when people use AI images related to Trump, Elon, Gaza, protesters, etc. This is all real, not fictional, so use photos. Not only is AI contributing to misinfo and abuse but it’s directly empowering the billionaire tech oligarchs
I'm sorry what??? Luka actually got traded?
PROTECT TRANS HEALTH CARE PROTEST MEET 11:30 AM AT BRUCE MONROE COMMUNITY PARK MARCH AT NOON TO CHILDREN’S NATIONAL, MASKS REQUIRED
Tomorrow in DC we’re protesting DC Children’s Hospital for ending all care to trans people under 19
I would love to see my followers join me in protesting a move that’s already impacting folks very close to me
If not now, when?
