Lecturers are continuing to push for a guarantee against compulsory redundancies at ENU with a fifth day of strike action today.

Members will continue to take this action until ENU recognises the value of its staff and commits to protecting their jobs.

The cabinet secretary admitted, at the EIS AGM last June, that commitments on class contact time should already have been delivered. Almost 8 months later and we are still waiting for any firm proposals on how it might be delivered to emerge from the Scottish Government and COSLA.
