"Lets tax the rich and make things better for everyone."
Or
"Lets blame Immigrants, Disabled People and Pensioners so we can get in a party who will make the billionaires even richer and things worse for everyone else."

£18 - hourly rate for a resident doctor after the 29% rise
£24 - hourly rate for a physicians assistant
If you're ok with assistants earning more than actual doctors, congratulations, you've fallen for Streeting and Starmer's attack on the people who will keep you safe when you fall ill, doctors
Have you seen the new terms and conditions over there?
Finally making the great leap from Twitter.
Imagine actually believing that the US is still "leading a rules-based system"
"Recent years have seen a dramatic shift in public discourse around autism: autistic people are finally being listened to, and many leading autism researchers now speak openly about how much they have learnt this way."

"globalisation has come to an end" is an insane take from anyone not trying to pander to the US delusion that they can singlehandedly stop *everyone else* from also trading.
Case in point, you don't hear Nintendo saying they're not launching the Switch 2 *anywhere*!

Incredible summary. Read it!
“The democratic recession does not begin when a far-right party takes office. It begins when a centrist party crushes hope in democracy”
“I feel there’s great potential in building a new politics [where] political power and local resources are returned to communities”
Denmark's Greens are on 15%, almost double the last election, mid-term. The social democrats in Denmark have been vocally sceptical on asylum & pace of immigration intending to go left on economics and the state. This may be effective at the next election but has potential risks on two flanks
Fox News is now engaged in a 24 hour operation to convince Americans that invading Greenland is normal.
Looks like Carney's not fucking about then. Good to see a world leader who's ready to do what needs done. If the rest took his lead some people might have to rethink their game plan.
As we’re approaching law-firm-hiring season, I hope students are considering which firms align with their professional and personal values and which ones don’t.

The evidence is all there, right in front of us, once we open our eyes.
Still internalising the Vance Munich speech. A sitting Vice President goes to Europe, barely says a word about the despotic murderous regime which has invaded its neighbour, and instead lectures his allies about freedom of speech. It’d be funny if it weren’t so serious.
America going around bullying the rest of the world is going to end badly.
Checking in this afternoon: yeah, cool, the transatlantic fascism remains both wildly embarrassing and incompetent, even if simultaneously destructive.
Has Europe found its big boy pants in response? Has the UK realised that there isn't a real choice between the EU and the US left yet?
