MLB is painful for the both of us right now...
That's one reason why the Native American armies didn't stand a chance against the European armies out to conquer North America.
Glad to hear it! I purposely made it easy as I keep people new to programming and Python in mind. Here is a link to the full documentation as well as Jupyter Lab Tutorials: pypi.org/project/xmac...

Yes.
I'd like to introduce you all to a personal project I've been working on recently. It's called Heimdall, and it's an MRMS + ProbSevere situational awareness monitor for CONUS scale severe weather. It's got roaming, alerts, archive mode, and is fully client side.

Also, computer science is strongly recommended anyone who wants to be an energy meteorologist. I say this because the energy sector is highly competitive because that is where the highest salaries in our field are. All energy meteorologist postings I've seen want experience in Python and/or R.
And/or computer science. For those of us in the field who are not passionate about graphic design, marketing, advertising and communication - computer science is the best path.

Wrote a detailed post regarding the additions in both WxData 1.5 and WxData 1.6 on the Pangeo Discourse.

🎉WxData 1.6 Released🎉
WxData 1.6 is released on conda-forge and pypi. The new end-to-end clients in WxData 1.6 are for NEXRAD II Radar Data (returns a list of Py-ART objects for a radar) & for CFS Data. The new raw client makes it easy for people to download open data from Amazon AWS. #python #data
Armenians do not waver in speaking truth to power and in fighting for justice.
I joined ANCA and ARAMAC to recommit our fight in standing up to Azerbaijan's continued aggression, their efforts to erase Armenian culture and history, and insist on the release of Armenian POWs.
My response at a candidates' forum last week to an opponent's suggestion that we can't impeach and remove Donald Trump but somehow instead can and should pass wonderful legislation (which I support!) that will keep him from abusing his power and wrecking our democracy ….

Just throwing this out there. My projects (i.e. WxData) are open source so if anyone wants to collaborate and contribute on something just let me know what it is you want to contribute.
Here are the WxData contributing guidelines: github.com/edrewitz/WxD...
According to Grok, here are the use cases best used for Herbie and WxData respectively. This is where I see the most contrast between the two packages and these best use cases seem quite accurate in my opinion. [2/2]
Grok gave a very detailed summary comparing the pros and cons of Herbie and WxData as well as providing use cases for each package. Despite both packages have lots of similarities, both packages are quite different and for different types of users. Here are pros and cons of each. [1/2].
One thing I will reiterate is in my opinion, without having the NOMADS OPENDAP, WxData is the easiest way to access weather data as it ensures you get the latest data, prevents too many requests on the servers, resolves dataset build errors and decodes GRIB variable keys into plain language. #Python
I'm genuinely curious, how many people here have played around with the WxData Python package at some point? #wxsky
