Small Yogurt

Without necessarily upgrading the specs, I've forced hard limits and queries to better match what I'm running on instead. My site shouldn't crash anymore, but it will run much slower during high traffic times. A little bit of server side gatekeeping, in a way. I'll monitor it over the next while.

Alright, I've done a lot of work on the backend, but I think I've set a config that will work for my server. The high traffic was definitely one of the main causes, and my server simply couldn't handle it at the configs I've set before.

At least for now, my site should be running a little better with the new configs. If you're visiting the site and it's working fine, then I'm happy :D

I'll keep a close eye on it, because it could also be something else entirely. The traffic might only just be part of the problem, not the whole thing.

I believe my suspicions were true to a degree. My site has been getting hit by more than double the typical traffic over the last 2-3 days for some reason. Probably just enough at once to crash my db. Maybe a bunch of bots. I've made some changes and upgrades to the config to see if it helps out.

My website is acting up today. It might be down for a bit, but I'll work on it when I get the time. I suspect something my db is bloating up somewhere.

Some of the ones to highlight are the comic panel tools, and the reworked text tool that can snap to vector shapes, such as a comic bubble.

It looks like there were some other features added, like a faster liquify transform, and some addition blending filters. It has become far more usable for me.

I'm really enjoying the new Krita 5.3 and 6.0 updates. There a ton of new features added that absolutely suit my comic workflow. The text tool was really the only thing I was asking for as a must, but I'm liking that it's more than just that.

It really was the right time to pick up Krita for me.

Ooh actually Krita 6 has a beta release that seems to be a bit more stable to work with than the nightlies. I'll give that go for my next comic. Maybe this will be the comic that will be fully made in Krita, start to end.
