Raising Mike's name rec outside SD-7 probably is the best path for Fine to have a chance. A successful Bushra boost cedes the race to Biss unless there's a very wild outcome that upends what the data suggests.
Agreed, this is probably what they would do. But if they were smart they'd be boosting Mike Simmons instead of Bushra. Mike draws from both Biss & Kat, whereas Bushra, who has way more money, isn't likely to pull from anyone at this point and prevents a drift from her voters to Kat.
Oh sure Fine and AIPAC are definitely coordinating. But at this point I think there's very, very little chance of Fine winning. She all but had Jan Schakowsky herself attacking her in ads... that's a demographic death knell for her. MAYBE Fine beats Kat, no way she beats Biss.
Maybe! Although I have a very hard time seeing Bushra coordinating with AIPAC, especially given her response. I dual endorsed because I know my readers: there are folks who could never be persuaded to vote for Kat, no matter what anyone says, and I believe Bushra is the best option for them.
I do feel like that's perhaps giving AIPAC too much credit, especially without mentioning "endorsed by progressive leaders" or something similar. IMO, its not hard to figure out that Bushra is Kat for folks who don't like Kat, AIPAC was just late on the uptake because they were focused on Biss.

Ori is a qualified and expert legal professional with a wide variety of experience. While we were previously concerned about a negative Bar Association rating on Ori's part, that concern pales in comparison to Dibler's FOP support.

Yeah, I know. I dual-endorse about once a Guide (1% of all races covered overall), and its only when I can't justify a single endorsement. Didn't like the morass of politics & principles that led to my non-endorsement of Mike, & the same logic didn’t apply to Bushra. Changes coming in future Guides.
Nobody has any clue why DPI is just straight-up lying on those mailers but its going to backfire really hard, I'm guessing.
