And yes, Tim Burchett, Marsha Blackburn, and Bill Hagerty all voted for it.

Hate to see these cuts to local programs that do so much for the community.
Also, it’s annoying and lazy fundraising.
We have to get some fundraising reform done for people. The amount of texts and emails is absolutely insane.
The DLCC fundraising tactics are highly confusing to people who are not very plugged into party politics.
This “renew your membership” or “pending renewal” stuff undermines red-state organizing efforts, and works against actual party building and membership that build political power for local orgs
Never thought I’d use “rolling over like a dog for ‘tummy scratches’ from the president” in a statement but there wasn’t a more apt expression for the performative grandstanding our congressman does.
We deserve a real leader in Congress. Burchett isn’t up for the job anymore.
Being a stereotypical “strong man” is not strength, it’s weakness.
Being unable to convince others to work for a common goal means you’re failing as a leader. We should be wary of the people who show or praise that kind of leadership.
Facing funding cuts, Knox Pride needs community support to continue feeding and providing essential items to ~100 people each day.

“Schedule and organize your own event,” is a ridiculous statement when their candidates and elected officials won’t event show up to nonpartisan voter forums.
You can’t call it a town hall if the public and press aren’t allowed in. Knox County’s Republican legislators are hiding from voters — and dodging accountability.
