This reminds me of the late night sitting Ford organized to cut the number of Toronto councillors in half, DURING AN ELECTION.

They paused Oversight Committee hearings the minute we started getting answers about the Epstein files.

Now it’s “roundtables”: no rules, no oaths, no subpoenas.

You do the math. Because the moment accountability shows up, they shut it down. The survivors deserve better.

The tech industry is destroying labour and the planet. And Liberal's AI Minister just shrugs.

I firmly believe presidents & people with control over medical agencies should understand percentages!

If *you* don’t, no judgment; I will explain in the next couple posts how they work. The short version is that Senator Warren is correct in the clip, and there’s NO interpretation in which RFKJr is

Rogers slashes capital spending as it blames regulations, reports Q1 profit up Rogers Communications Inc. is cutting its capital spending by 30 per cent compared with last year, citing a “punitive” regulatory environment and competitive pressures.

Rogers is mad because #Canada introduced competition and anti-monopoly laws along with changes to pricing for telecom.

Washington demanding 'entry fee' from Ottawa before trade talks: sources | CBC News The Trump administration is demanding what amounts to an "entry fee" from Canada to engage in trade talks toward a revised Canada-United States-Mexico Free Trade Agreement (CUSMA), four sources told R...

Canada has already paid an "entry fee" in these negotiations — dropping counter-tariffs and scrapping the Digital Services Tax, a modest tax on the world's most profitable tech giants, at the behest of Donald Trump.

Those concessions got us nowhere.

Ontario redacts almost every word top civil servant wrote about return-to-office mandate | Globalnews.ca The government is currently rushing its changes to freedom of information laws past public hearings, shielding who the premier speaks to from public view.

NEW: What considerations did Ontario's top civil servant make over return to the office? It's unclear.

Critics say redactions to what we got via FOI pour cold water on the government's argument excluding cabinet from disclosure won't stifle transparency.

Ford 'mislead' us again. Even now, he is redacting the words of the top civil servant whose words are NOT SUPPOSED TO BE REDACTED under the current or the proposed FOI law.

The Ford gov just HIDES info that is damning or embarrassing or even informative.

Today is Earth Day, but each year it can feel a little more like Groundhog Day.

While we replay the same pipeline debates in Canada, the rest of the world is racing ahead on renewable energy — which is growing so fast that it met all new electricity demand in 2025.

That's mean.
I've seen a few resumés for Pierre Poilievre where he claimed to have worked at Dairy Queen. A vague reference to a paper route.
But he lives in a 19 room publicly funded mansion with his own private chef and groundskeepers.
I'm sure he's negotiated something, somewhere, at some time.
