We are sorry to learn of the death of Ken Mayers, peace activist, member of @veteransforpeace.bsky.social & an honorary member of this chapter.
Ken passed away at his home in Santa Fe, New Mexico Jan 27th Inst
Many Irish people met Ken when he was detained in Ireland for almost 9 months after

It is important to point out that the Irish Government + the authorities at Shannon airport are likely to be in contravention of Article III (b) of the Genocide Convention.

We are saddened to learn of the death of founding member VFP Ireland, Norman Scarth.
Norman served during WW2 with the Artic convoys & passed away in his 99th year in Ballinasloe Co Galway.
Rest In Peace Norman: duty done.

Members report on flights carrying munitions to Israel (and other war zones) flying through Irish airspace compromising Irish neutrality.
