Playing with the Platinum color 3D printer filament. Made a simple gamepad case for my Apple II "funpad". Would people be interested in such a thing if I sold them?

Kudos to Polar Filament for making this product. Amazing no one has thought of this before. Sure to be copied so maybe support them as they seem to be a nice group of people.

@museumjoe.bsky.social Quick 3d print test and I'm satisfied.
Review:
-cost: $21.99+$9.58 -very good for niche product (can't always get free shipping)
-speed: 4 biz days to Midwest US -great
-color match: excellent
Score 5/5. Didn't need, but if you have a IIgs and printer, you OWE it to yourself.

Bill Atkinson | Lisa Source Code
Bill Atkinson | Lisa Source Code YouTube video by Computer History Museum

A video for Apple IIgs Desktop programmers. Bill Atkinson (of Atkinson Dithering and Apple Lisa/Mac fame) gives great insight on the design principles of QuickDraw, Regions, FontManager, and other pieces that would eventually become part of the Mac and Apple IIgs toolbox calls.

After too many weeks, my TCP/IP Link Layer driver is finally working! But I still have many fixes and optimizations to do. Code (and card) coming soon. The card is not my work. I'm just working on Apple IIgs firmware/support.

I wanted to wait, but here's a sneak peek.

Two weeks ago we had a really fun game jam for the Foenix 256. I was able to do a complete text adventure in 2 days and added graphics in the finale. It's a great little machine and easy to program if you know 6502-type machines (or BASIC).

That's cool. Klax is a great fit for the IIgs since there's no scrolling. You'll still be limited by how slow the graphics RAM writes are, but if you can avoid updating the whole screen you will have no problem achieving good frame rates. What language are you using?
