Tucker Carlson: I'II be tormented for a long time by the fact that I played a role in getting Donald Trump elected. We're implicated in this. I misled people.
It'd sure be nice if Kamala Harris' campaign organization wouldn't constantly promote Tucker Carlson, Alex Jones, Megyn Kelly, and whatnot. But oh well.

You're so into injustice that purity has become a negative value to you? Get your humanity back. I'm a fan of at least attempting to get there, not surrendering.

Verily, I say unto thee, the horseless carriage on tracks of which people have been most grievously tied to is not a problem of logic with one solution. Nay, it is a demonstration of the various responses given a moral quandary with numerous variables. I pray thee, seek agency of the track.

This would be a perfect excuse for Mamdani to provide leadership and issue a demand to NYC hospitals that have withdrawn from gender care for youths.

I’d assume that would be more of a primary thing so the pay has time to get their shit together and remain accountable to the populace they claim to represent. But you know what they say about assuming 😅

Clinton won the popular vote and it still went to Trump because of the EC. Whatever hell there has been to pay has long been delayed and I’m happy to see the effort even if it’s a decade late. 😅
And much agreed. RCV would allow for so much better option, especially if they include “no confidence”

Not to disagree with your point, I’m all for it! It’s one barrier among many, thus the need for actual ideological opposition rather than just procedural. Getting rid of the electoral college isn’t a cure-all.

Three things:
1. Attempts are already being made by several States to do so, need more support on that front.
2. It exists as a structure of control. As long as it continues to exist, it functions to prevent said “overwhelm”.
3. Trump still won with the popular vote.

Do have judgement for those in power who have a lot more access to legislation and power than just a single vote for a person once every 2-4 years.

A lot of people call this shit out and vote for the person anyways. That’s representative democracy. A choice made, but not one I’m openly gonna judge cause *gestures at electoral college, ugly gerry, record harm*

See? For some people that might be a red line, especially if they or their family is directly impacted.
This can be said for other destructive policies that would drive voters away.
Red lines are different for everyone. Can we reduce those red lines rather than justify their existence?

We can recognize this is an issue, so why the support and justification for it?

Lol, many reasons rhyming with “Pick Later”.
Why would the advertised “opposition” to this continue to send bombs for genocide knowing this was the case?

Harris did the same thing, but mainly because she was stuck with his platform and refused/wasn’t allowed to diverge from it. As far as I can tell at least based on the platform and her book/interviews.

Oh, he literally said he’s a Catholic Zionist. Biden’s been straight up and honest with his interest regarding Israel and their genocide.
That just doesn’t fall in line with being opposition to an existential crisis that benefits from allying with the person running said genocide.

If they wanted to put up a strong oppositional front to a candidate they validly identified as an existential crisis, why would they continue aiding and justifying a genocide run by a politician helping said existential crisis?

That’s like saying you endorsed genocide simply because you voted Harris, regardless her win or loss. That’s a shitty thing to claim. Don’t do that.

The Big Beautiful Bill was Republicans I thought…
Non voters wrote, produced, and voted for this legislation?
Is that how you think this works?

I voted and my state delegates went to Harris.
Couldn’t have “voted for her harder”, she wouldn’t have received an extra delegate. That’s not how our system works.

It really is a religion. The arguments of faith based on rhetoric over reality is a distinct parallel to the Evangelicals.

Harm reduction CAN be a thing, but Dems are delivering records and Trump is seeking intentionally to beat them.

Yeah, kids have been in cages and approximately 127 people dying in ICE custody annually since Bush. Deaths were going down until about 2021 before they shot yup the next year.
That’s not even getting into the 8 consecutive record years of police executing our citizenry
