Not only were The Jam a formative band for me, but I was lucky enough to meet Rick years ago and hear his stories about their early days.

Such a friendly, engaging and talented person.

It’s mad to think that Jurassic Park was released in 1993 and still holds up remarkably well with its fx. Then I watched the Star Wars prequels again the other day and they all just look awful.

Some of those blockbuster ‘epic’ films haven’t aged well at all. You can definitely tell the cash grab ones from those that had fx teams that actually, y’know, gave a shit.

Lots of unpacking done and more to do. Plenty to adjust to and things to get used to.

Including living in an apartment block again where you can hear your neighbours being noisy arseholes.
