for all the emotional whiplash of the last few days, i gotta say i appreciated all the earnest expressions of gratitude from a group (myself included) who usually hide behind a dose of sarcasm, detachment theory and/or a punchline. dare i say it felt nice to care deeply & voice it unabashedly.
