Blue sky is back up!

I'm still mad about this. Lol
I had to refund this buyer nearly $200 dollars for this. I'm so mad right now. I was just trying to sell my older device to make a bit of money in this economy. I never had this problem before this point!
I'm so done!! I sent a package to sell one of my retro handhelds on eBay. The package not only got refused and sent back but the PO sent back an EMPTY package and nothing inside of it. I can't even track the (likely stolen) goods because it went to two distribution centers!
Will have the next raffle rewards up by next week. I apologize for the delay 🙇♂️

Team Asano were not lying about how much time you'd spend in Octopath Traveler 0. Already 10 hours in-game, haven't started a single Masters Of route. Just the sidequests/routes, already got Tressa, under-leveled, but managing in explore just fine
I'm glad more channels are talking about these predatory cozy game farms that popped up after the pandemic. Absolutely annoys the hell out of me that people don't see these patterns (RANT INCOMING):

Whenever the latest "Cozy" game comes out that has a super Chibi, HQ plastic artstyle, I just assume it's from one of these dev farms now. Which is a shame because I like cute things, but I don't like companies using predatory psychological tactics to prey on my interests!
Companies optimize the hell of their intended demographics, which in this case are specifically targeting young female gamers who play super casually and don't expand much outside that. And therefore, wouldn't see these consistent scams for what they are.
The worst part is seeing this system pay out in any way because people don't know any better. They'll see a purposely optimized, too cute artstyle that triggers something in their brain to try the game, only to realize it's mediocre at best and a scam at worst.
These companies honed in on farming, open world, Harvest Moon clones, and/or live service combos to cash in on Stardew Valley, older Harvest Moon, and Disney Dreamlight Valley's success. They can't do anything else because the goal is optimize a perfect formula for more money.
I HATE that companies take advantage of an untapped, female-oriented market to sell slop. Many of those games already are considered low effort by default. These companies know there are very little options for people wanting more.
More than half of these new games come from Tencent or it's subsidiaries. They don't reveal any AI usage, stolen assets, etc. because they know they'd get scrutiny for being shady. These devs have trademarks filed at nearly the exact same time, too (very convenient!).
Major companies hide behind the "Indie/Budget" title while having full support that most Indie developers would never get (making a live service game requires A TON of consistent funding!). They use the most generically art styles, bare bones mechanics, and lackluster systems.
"We're cozy game developers who happen to pitch an AI-scripted prompt for our totally unique game! Ignore how it's live service and that it's conveniently funded by major companies like Tencent/Nexon!" It's crazy how many of these farms have the EXACT same pitch.
