A pot full of rich, thick, Italian Lentil soup with carrots, celery, onions, garlic, lentils, pasta and tomatoes.

Cooking is an old-fashioned skill well worth having; this weekend I made waffles, chocolate chip cookies, and Italian lentil soup, all from "scratch".

It gives me such joy to prepare something tasty and then watch a loved one enjoy it! I guess it's my love language.

If only we had, oh idk, aomething like HISTORY to show us the pattern...
