"There's a nice little tavern not far from here. It's close to Wanmin Restaurant. I can lead the way if you'd like."

"Actually I did just finish some stuff up- I'd be happy to join you for a drink."

With the medicine packed away nicely he handed it over to her and gave a gentle smile while holding his hand up.

"Please don't worry about it. I insist that you just take it."

A few days? That wasn't so bad. Surely he could mix something up that would help with the girl's fever.

"Not to worry. Please come with me to the Pharmacy and I'll get something foe you to mix in with some tea."

"Oh?" Lifting his head at the sound of the woman's voice, he gave a concerned look at got to his feet.

"How long has she been sick for? I might have some herbs that can help break her fever."

"My apologies. . . I am not in the best health. Quite ironic for a doctor, isn't it?"

He asked as he cleared his throat, giving a small smile.

"Yes that's right. She's a wonderful companion. " He laughed lightly before a small cough escaped from him.

"Pardon me. . . "

"Oh- Changsheng isn't a pet." He replied, glancing toward the snake sleeping on his shoulder.

"She's actually an adeptus who was once known as the Herblord. . .and we have a contract."

Though the contract was costing him his own health, but that didn't need to be mentioned at the moment.

"Oh I run the local pharmacy in Liyue. I had some time so I came out to gather some herbs."

He then gestured to the white snake wrapped around his shoulder.

"Changsheng needed some fresh air as well."

The doctor let out a soft chuckle as he shook his head a bit.

"A pleasure, Kaeya. My name is Baizhu."
