My students deserve to live in a community where they can breathe fresh air and play outside without harming their health.

Unfortunately, instead of shielding our residents and our children, who are most at risk, Trump's EPA is focused on protecting the profits of corporate polluters.

Arab Americans have contributed to every aspect of our culture today; from art to music to food to science to politics and more. This month is about celebrating those contributions and making sure our Arab American neighbors feel supported and celebrated.

I am proud to have earned the support of PSAN and our law enforcement officers across Nevada. Together we will continue working to keep our communities safe across Nevada!

115 years ago, many workers didn’t have access to things we now take for granted, like fire escapes, breaks, or even the ability to leave work without their employer’s permission. On March 25, 1911, over 140 workers died in the Triangle Shirtwaist factory fire, most of whom were immigrant women.

“There’s real concern about the cognitive decline that we’ve seen in students becoming overly reliant on AI,” said La Rue Hatch, who is also a teacher. “Where is the option of teachers saying ‘I don’t think this is appropriate to use in this case,’ or ‘I don’t feel ethically right using it’?”"

And policymakers must acknowledge and confront how AI can harm student’s learning process, La Rue Hatch said.

Last year I sponsored a bill that would have put an end to our twice-yearly time change because switching our clocks harms Nevadans.

Based on the outpouring of support that bill received from the community, I’m not alone in wanting to end this outdated practice.

Kristi Noem has done a stunning amount of damage and it’s good she’s gone.

But this doesn’t change the fact that we need a complete overhaul of DHS, impartial investigations into the killings of two American citizens, and information on children that were taken from Minnesota.

This year is our time to fight for something better - better schools, better housing, a better system where the odds aren’t stacked against working people.
