I don’t think there’s much reason to suspect we’d have been there though. Either the key players would have stayed fit in which case we’d be top four, or they wouldn’t and we’d have had another season like the last one.

We took a combination of the dumbest people and trolls deadly seriously and it’s probably killed us.

As was said on one of the podcasts this week, if they'd sacked Frank when they should have it probably would have done.

He actually defended the club, too. Too many of our managers in recent years have been seemingly ashamed to be here. Tudor another exception I'd argue.

The main reason I am such a die hard fan of Ange is that he represented the club in the way I wanted someone to. Cards on the table, I didn’t really care about the results because I believed in what he said about doing things the right way and how that in doing that we would end up winning.

The bizarre thing is how self-evident the attraction is.
