Good question my assumption is SDOT did not think they would get hit as often as they do. I know they are working on a fix.
No they can’t be bolted into the bridge deck like they are on a regular road surface.

There needs to be bikes lanes along the entire length on a rebuilt Aurora.

Yes a lot of bike lanes have been built by the city in the past 3 years.
I literally gave you an advocacy award two years ago.

back home did a total of 59.9 miles today in between meetings and my commute.
27 miles in to the day charging the bike for a few hours.
Today’s travel plan Shoreline Pioneer Square, Pioneer Square to Magnuson Park, Magnuson Park to Redmond, and Redmond back to Shoreline. all by e-bike.
We came up with a great plan to fix things at breakfast this morning.
