Also just holding on to the knowledge that it's just a season. Sometimes, we need a rest season. I try to lean into it and find the things I CAN do in that time to rest and recharge, or study and read, or exercise other creative muscles, to come back stronger when that season's passed.
Ran a D&D campaign to get the creative juices flowing in a different medium until my brain was willing to write stories again. Worked pretty well for a while, though I'm now in another dry spell mostly due to lack of time/energy. 😭

As an editor and publisher, I'm very disturbed by the trend of putting submitter's work into AI detectors without their consent or knowledge. I can tell you this is happening at a lot of major magazines. I don't care if the detector is supposedly not using data put into it. you must gain consent.
