To say that voters chose Trump over the Dems is ignoring that Dems couldn't sell Trump's horrible track record from just 4 years ago to the American voter. Yup, agreed. But we need a functioning democracy where the opposition actually can hold the executive responsible for their actions. Wasn't unchecked power a reason our founders wrote this constitution? This Supreme Court has made the president unaccountable for any actions while in office.
