not that most of the stuff I encounter online is written by people smarter than me or w/e. more like I notice they're comfortable just losing people along the way during an explanation, even when their job is specifically science communication. I would consider that a failure on my part as a writer

people keep telling me I'm good at explaining things but I don't view this as true because from my pov what I'm doing is wording things in a way that makes sense to me, and I view myself as pretty dumb, so for *me* to understand something I need to break it down, avoid jargon, and not skip any steps

haven't figured out what to use my bsky for yet, still reserving updates I have on health experiments and research for twitter, so I'm using this for more casual thoughts and convo
