If you just let it grow out a bit, you’ll be ready for a cowboy hat, two six-shooters, a rabbit nemesis, and you can start liberally throwing out phrases like “what in tarnation?!”
Dom! I saw you on TV. Well, I mean I saw you on LinkedIn really, but the principle applies. You were excellent.
We’re excited to welcome Casey Ellis (@cje.io) and Jen Ellis (@infosecjen.bsky.social) to the board of the Security Research Legal Defense Fund (SRLDF.org), bringing even more expertise, focus, and reach to supporting good faith security research defend against frivolous and unfair prosecution.

Did anyone watching #Eurovision get Pete Postlethwaite in Aeon Flux from the Montenegro act? Just me?
HACK THE PLANET!! Hackers turns 30 this year, and it’s possibly not aged completely gracefully, but it’s still fun. So just for lulz, @nccgroupinfosec.bsky.social and I are organising a screening of the movie at CyberUK. If you fancy joining us, register here: www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/hackers-fo...
@varmaz.is I fondly remember your reaction to Dade’s “Not bad… for a girl” line when we watched Hackers at Derbycon. Followed by @todb.hugesuccess.org’s response to Dade’s “you’re lucky I’m such a gentleman” line. So proud to be part of our team.

See? Good times! Seriously though, I don’t want to get cheesy, but you always make me look again and I really appreciate that. I feel like I always end up with a better output for having got your input, and more so because we don’t always agree.
It’s important to have goals.
Man, I miss chatting with you.
Resist tyranny. It doesn't matter if Chris Krebs is our friend or enemy. Sure, he's demonstrated enormous character in the situation, but still, such political retaliation is evil whoever he is.
Such a perfectly pragmatic @erratarob.bsky.social take on the situation. Rob doesn’t expect people to agree with his politics - which is healthy - rather he lays out why this shouldn’t be about political leanings anyway.

Update on the CVE sitch, CISA has "executed the option period on the contract to ensure there will be no lapse in critical CVE services." Yay! Not sure what it means for the future, but for now, no loss of CVE Program service. Thanks CISA! www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/securit...
Oooh good one. Yep, we'll have a think about how to do something on that. Thank you!
Big props to those behind the new CVE Foundation (www.thecvefoundation.org) - amazing to be able to announce this so quickly after the news about MITRE's funding expiring broke yesterday. I hope private sector & government folks are investigating how they can support the Foundation going forward.

I welcome differing opinions, so you enjoy that pineappley pizza, and I’ll get something non-pineappley, and we can all have wonderful nom noms ;)
Since security firms have gone quiet, let me say that @thekrebscycle.bsky.social was an exemplary 1st director of CISA & worked super hard to defend & protect the American people. The pineapple on pizza thing is still weird, but otherwise, I’m a fan. I stand with Chris. #defenddemocracy
