I admit I did kind of miss drawing these three again and with the 3rd anniversary of their debut game (but it- just, just roll with it) and some news regarding that adventure spinoff coming in, I thought I would at least do the occasion. For one thing, I never got to draw their rebel phase during highschool and that image that was meant to go along with the "third junior highschool anthem" (which is pretty funny with either interpretations, did they set off a explosion themselves or someone meaner than them did it and they actually attempted to save the day as a form of redemption or just out of their heart?) from the Bankara walker kept hanging in my mind for a good while. I did manage to have a proper sketch with Lil'Man, but the rest required me to try out different posing since I would risk repeating myself, I feel like I've done all three of them at their "prime" before. Then came the background and I think you get the gist. I initially intended to have the highschool they attended in the background as presented in the image for reference, but then I thought it would be cooler to just have them beat up some bully gangs, even though they're ferocious looking fishes here. The pond is rather small. Oddly enough, I don't feel quite satisfied with how it turned out. I notice Lil'Man's bandana isn't properly shaded and ends blending in with the background. I also feel could've slid in their catchphrase on their shadows in their "handwritten inklish" but I couldn't quite figure how to do it. Weh, I gotta stop complaining sometimes and just go with the "good enough" for now on. Enjoy these has-beens. Give out some comments here if you want to talk about it or even fave it if you like it.
