This can't be said often enough

Kemi Badenoch on #BBCLauraK saying both 9 months is too short to turn her party mess around after 14 years but 9 months is plenty to turn around the mess her country made to the country.

Surely she sees the contradiction here?

Thanks Lewis. I need something to make it make sense

More research needs to be be done into unsuccessful applications, moved rolls and EHE from schools with no excuses approaches.

I've seen first hand the messaging during the early meeting around a school application, the dissuasion. I've seen moves away that are made to secure support.

Nigel Farage claiming to believe fully in free speech - I guess he wouldn't be suing anyone for defamation then if they accused him of something he hadn't done then?

1 year ago 2 0 0 0

Nigel Farage saying that he believes in free speech totally but with limits is a typical right wing device.

He believes in free speech he agrees with, that's the limit.

Making something relatable doesn't mean taking away opportunity or learning. And in terms of aspirations...people aspire to do different things and there are many routes. She was a political pick from start to finish.

Can tell it's Friday. Today I found myself leaning slightly to the side to see someone who was a bit off camera on Teams, like I could somehow see around the corner of their frame 🤣🤣

Education has changed around the children.

Support has been withdrawn.

Boundaries have tightened to the point they generate friction instead of maintain safety.

Curriculums have narrowed.

Staffing has reduced.

Admissions are a mess.

The SEND system is broken.

Do wonder what edutwitter is making of the sky high suspensions report today. After trying to convince us they weren't increasing, now the increase will be presented as not a problem.

It is a problem - it's a sign that support is needed.

You can't just dismiss it as "worsening behaviour".

Clarkson clashes with BBC over inheritance tax comment Jeremy Clarkson has had a heated exchange with Victoria Derbyshire about his own remarks that he bought a farm to avoid inheritance tax.

"who here at this protest isnt affected by the thing you are protesting?"

Not exactly a great survey there.

This was disappointing. Would have been better if someone not as close to him was interviewing him, the little pushback given was tempered by what felt like the desire to maintain friendships

Went to my granddad's funeral today, experienced an overwhelming sense of grief not felt before. Memories came flooding back. Made me think of those that stuck for me may have been small moments for him, but hugely significant in my mind. We never know which interactions make the biggest difference.

Just to let all the other Dads know, my daughter said I was the strongest Dad in the whole world today.

Sorry about that but I thought you all should know.
