I think the actual oil and grime keeps getting scraped downwards by the sides into that hole too deep to get at without disassembly, the contact cleaner just degunks it like with earwax liquid

I just tried it and the blast of the cleaner itself is pretty surprisingly strong, could definitely get dirt and hair out all on its own. but i feel like you just won't get the same mileage on oil and grime and soap scum without swabbing

If you spray it into a USB port you're prob going to need to swab it out too while it's wet. Just spraying breaks up dirt and oil and makes it less sticky, but doesn't remove it.

I mean iso is the same thing it's the swab that would make the difference. The recommendation was just to spray this into the stick base.

No doubt it works, I just saying apparently sometimes the fix is to send the grime deeper
