I used Bjorntall's liripipe pattern last time, but I've had this one in my pattern archive for a couple of years and wanted to try it. My friend, who's a sewing newbie, wants to use the dagging extension, so I figured I'd try out the vanilla version first.

On top of the pieces are a pair of metal scissors, two spools of linen thread, and a skein of oatmeal-colored wool yarn.

Saturday is Robin Hood Medieval Faire's first rehearsal, and it's looking to be a wee bit chilly. So I'm going to try to bang out a new hood for Tuck this week.

The costumes in that film were off the charts.
One of the distinct characteristics of the capuchinbird is its call, which has been described as similar to a distant chainsaw, or a calf mooing.
