We should all be able to sit comfortably in a room together and say, “Hey! I’ve got a interesting idea!” And we work on it!

To do that, I’ve got to become more comfortable posting on social media and blue sky. Definitely helps with that because everyone is so open here.

It is a big goal of mine to hire minorities such as people of color, people on the spectrum, people that are part of the LGBTQIA+ community, and more.

I feel like when it comes to creating things people should be able to come together without worrying about assault or harassment.

I love everyone for how unique they are and how everyone’s thoughts and processes can be so different.

That is when my best friend and I decided that Flameingo should be a place for creative minds to come together and create something beautiful.

We didn’t really know what our goal was, but overtime I started to read articles about women in minorities being mistreated in the workplace. Now, I can’t attest if all of that information was true however, I felt like something needed to be changed.

I’ve always been very passionate about people.

Hello Bluesky! I thought I would share with you all why I started my company Flameingo and the meaning behind it.

Whenever we first started working on what is now Jetpac, we were doing it for fun and we wanted something creative to be out there in the world, social media wise.

I think the issue is not just the lack of innovation, but also how big companies, once they reach a certain size, start focusing more on maintaining their dominance rather than truly listening to users. They end up copying trends instead of creating original features that meet real user needs.

Bluesky is going to be the next big platform and it makes me incredibly happy! It fosters communities and people’s creativity and interests which is what great platforms should do. Excellent work to the Bluesky team!
