I guess it's a witness question. Preserving/building some kind of possibility for a collective refusal by making sure there is an outside of it, not necessarily an outside in terms of actual privacy and unsurveilled life, but an outside of thought that results in +/- successful small acts of refusal

acquiescing to it all, letting AI shape our lives and minds, and refusing to accept it. In living like you can live beyond it, that preserves some kind of backbone and some sense that things do not have to be how they are. And that's worth a lot.
