I am also convinced we should change the spelling of the word effort to being with an “a,” and finally have the phrase “A for effort” make sense.

One if my strongest held beliefs is that everyone is using “sub par” the wrong way. I used it as a compliment for two years after moving to the U.S., believing the term was borrowed from golf, a game in which good players hit below par. I was correct and everyone is wrong.

ACLU of Pennsylvania sues ICE for information on efforts to ‘unmask’ anonymous online critics The civil rights organization asked a federal judge to order ICE to share records related to subpoenas it issued to tech companies for information about individuals criticizing the agency online.

ICE has been issuing subpoenas to tech companies to obtain personal information about individuals critical of deportation online or those who track the agency’s activity.

@aclupa.org sued ICE to find out the extent of their use of these subpoenas, and justification for them.
