Maybe. But I think the Angels being sort of a mirror (bad) organization makes it more apt.

Though it’s like the joke about Rick Hahn. He obviously deserved the 2020 Executive of the Year award because he built three playoff teams (Sox, Padres, A’s).
Angels are perfect because it’s mostly guys nobody else wants or can envision a significant role for.
I don’t put them in the running because that’s mostly just them getting the better of the Sox in trades (Marcus Semien, Gio Gonzalez, Chris Bassitt, no-cost Ray Durham rental…and on and on).
Also ignores the historical legacy of guys like Paco Martin and Gordon Beckham. And the patron saint of Angels-Sox synergy, the guy who had two separate stints with both teams, Jim Abbott.
Are they earning the label by being bad and backwards orgs, or by rostering former Sox players? Moncada, Tim Anderson, Nicky Lopez, Kevin Pillar, Carson Fulmer, Giolito, ReyLo, Ryan Tepera… those aren’t even all of the recent post-Sox guys.
Nobody has the Angels beat for that.
Kennedy. His face is even a similar material to a speed bag.
Busch is probably better than he’s been to start this year, but I don’t think he was going to replicate last year’s production. Some power should come back when he stops hitting it into the ground as much.

The number of Republicans crashing out about getting nakedly gerrymandered is, unironically, a sign that we need to do more of it. You guys are correct! This shit sucks! Welcome to the party, pals! We can all stop doing it any time you like!
Impossible.
I think it’s really fascinating how press in Chicago has somehow turned CTA ending what was a deeply unpopular and ineffective security contract into a negative thing.
Journalists need to do better.
Now if the guy had been wearing this InfoWars shirt it would have made more sense.
Remember this like it was yesterday. I was on the reference desk looking sad and an older Black man walked by and said how much of a shame it was. I appreciated his commiseration.

Purple lilacs blooming.
The smell of lilacs is one of my favorite signs of spring.
Fun player, optimistic era for the Sox. I’d wear that around the ballpark before anything that says Benintendi on it.
Hard not to feel for the guy, especially after the kind of criticism he faced about his supposed lack of passion from guys like Marty Brennan and JP Ricciardi. Hope he got everything he could from the moment.
When my kids call me old.
Wow, I’m never going to remember Marisnick in a Sox uniform.
Glad I’m still up to see that Murakami grand slam.
Don’t forget this one.
Didn’t inspire me to work out, but did inspire me to throw up.
