This third meeting in Helsinki is the first fully open conference, and the plan is to continue organizing future meetings as open conferences.
The first Nordic AMR meeting was held in Uppsala in 2022 with around 30 participants, mainly center directors involved in the Nordic AMR network. The second meeting took place in TromsĂž in 2024 as a scientific conference open to researchers from all participating centers with around 100 participants
The Nordic AMR Conference got started when Dan Andersson brought together AMR researchers from across the Nordic countries and formed a network. The aim of the network has been doctoral training, research collaboration, and joint funding applications.
The Nordic AMR Conference 2026 kicked off yesterday in Helsinki.
