A New Jersey data center will reportedly receive $77 million in tax breaks — while only creating one permanent job.
One job, in exchange for higher utility bills, noise pollution, and potential groundwater pollution.
Is it any wonder communities are organizing to stop data centers?
As Orange Caligula's liars were gaslighting the country today about how great the economy is, how gas is cheaper then under Biden, this new poll does not agree with them.
32% approval on Iran
30% approval on the economy
The GOP is toast.

The Brits appear ready to shame the US news media into covering this, distracted as they are by gazing at their own navels ...
He is morally and ethically dead.
It isn't enough for our ultra maga idiots ratfucking democracy here, they've exported it now. At least in Hungary the people woke up and have a strong leader who is determined to undo all the ratfucking that Orban did. That is the way forward.
Fifteen minutes before the President announced he was pausing strikes on Iran, somebody moved $500 million in oil futures. Somebody knew. Somebody told them. Or somebody is them.

Beautiful area there. When I was young we would vacation on Lake Restoule and also Pigeon Lake by Bobcaygeon, lots of good times there.
Our snow was gradually melting when we got a lot of rain but everything here is slanted to drain into the lake. The airport was closed for a few days due to water ponding over the runways.
Winter here was interesting, we were colder and got more snow then normal but it was ok. And it makes the other seasons so much more enjoyable.
My lawn is just getting green here but won't need a trim for a while yet. Enjoy your day!
Still heaping barbs on the lawless gop, some things never change 💙
Hmmm, what kind of taco is that? Bom dia and happy taco Tuesday FID!
🤬 BBC has a story up about the market manipulation.
They are so tiny and there are so many in a small area doing their diving thing, really neat to see.
We had minor flooding here but Escanaba was dumping raw sewage into Little Bay de Noc for 5 days because of sump pumps sending so much water to the water treatment plant. 🤢
Tesla saved $400 million on its federal taxes by shifting billions of its U.S. profits to countries with lower tax rates.
Yes: While you paid your taxes in full, giant corporations maneuvered to pay as little as possible — and it’s all perfectly legal for them.
The system is rigged.
This is horrible and will have a chilling effect on tourism there.
Good morning, this one is the best sunrise here in a while imho. Have a great day, have some tacos if you can 🌮🌮🌮
Here on the nw corner of Lake Michigan, a lot of birds have been showing up including a nice sized flock of bufflehead ducks which I rarely see here, but they've been hanging out for several days now as they wait for Ontario to thaw out.
lol Ultra Maga Mike does not look like a happy camper here
If I got a dollar for every time clouds ruined prime aurora borealis viewing here, I could throw a heck of a party. But those same clouds can create some very vivid sunrises.
Here's your taco Tuesday super Yooper sunrise from the northwest corner of Lake Michigan. #906Life #PureMichigan

Netanyahu pulling trumps strings as puppetmaster
Embarrassing how this guy lets the worlds dictators pull his strings, never been more ashamed of this country.
The orange fascist thug punk wanted to use nukes on Iran and had to be told NO. We are way the fuck past 25th amendment territory here and what are the do nothing republicans doing? Yup as expected they are doing nothing.
Yep most of the west coast of the lower peninsula can get it pretty good from strong west and NW winds. I'm tucked away upwind so don't get much lake effect snow either here unless something strong is pushing down from Lake Superior usually.
