I've seen a few defenses regarding #FriendOS on various accounts. I want to offer insight on why the Toontown community has reacted how it has. This is not to reiterate what others have said, but to offer perspective for people outside of the Toontown fandom.

white text on a black background, the text reads as follows: I normally don't get involved outside of reposts/spreading awareness, but seeing so many people in the toontown community, including people I previously followed and held respect for, defend micah / moondog / the dev of friendOS and fall for their manipulation tactics is nauseating to see. so I feel the need to say, block me if you are in support of predators of any kind. I'm not involved in the community, but this goes for that stupid roblox horror game too. I do not care if they made a game or show you enjoy, you cannot detach art from the artist while the artist is still alive and profiting off of / benefiting from their creation in some way. I do not care if the victim wasn't "perfect" or you personally believe they were a bad person; that does not absolve their abuser of any crimes, and frankly, you make me sick if all you take from this situation is "oh, well, keeby was bad too, so why does it matter?" none of your excuses will fly with me -- I have endured something very similar, and I will not tolerate your bullshittery. it is clear-cut abuse and grooming if you bother to read the document. you will not change my mind.

I was young and being taken advantage of once. The fact that I apparently keep people in my circle who wouldn't dare to look poorly at the perpetrator and instead shit on me first and foremost for doing bad things when a lot of them are most likely results of prolonged abuse. Sickens me to my core.
I am disgusted. A lot of you are refusing to actually acknowledge the main problem at hand just because the victim did odd things. You can address all that when you stop rallying behind the perpetrator of abuse of a teenager who is still hiding the truth and defaming thr victim to look better
Why are some of my mutuals here supporting someone who not only dating a 17 year old at 20, but planned to visit them over state lines, talked sexually to them, and turned around and say they pressured them into a relationship when they were the adult in the situation????
