Ash. Handsome boy.
Ash, slow blinks my way, yay!.
Ash. A very photogenic furbaby.
Good afternoon, everyone π. So I have a new feral furbaby coming around. He looks so much like Smokey, for the exception of the darker tail. I'm 99.9% sure it's a boy. I named him Ash. He doesn't come around every day but enough that I named him. I wonder where Smokey has gone to. I miss him.
Today, my girl, Daisy (Siamese cat), turned 12. She is my sweet baby girl. Happy birthday, Daisy. I love you.πΊπ»β€οΈππππ
Thank you, she is.
It spooked him, and I didn't want him running away. His personality was so cute, he would roll around on the grass or driveway and I would just snap picture after picture π₯ oh how i miss him. I miss them all very much, and pray π they are doing well, and the good Lord is watching over them.
So I go out and sit and just pet her and talk to her. I did that with Pepper and Oreo. I miss them. I talked to Momo and Sammy from a distance. I got closer (distance) to Momo than Sammy. I love them all so much and miss them. I got some close to Momo i could have pet him, but one little touch and
I go out at night before bed and give her some treats. I stay with her about 15 mins while she eats. It breaks my heart every time I come back inside. And see her on the camera just sitting there, sometimes waiting for mevto come back out. The weather has cooled off the last two days
I would love it if she became an inside cats. I don't know if that will ever happen. I open the door and ask if she wants to come in, but she just stands there looking inside. I think she would love it snd become a real snuggler. She loves being petted.
She is so pretty.
Beautiful green eyes.
Just adorable.
A few pictures of my tortie girl, Lilo. She is semi-feral to me. It took 7 years for her to finally come close enough for me to pet her. She is a regular deck furbaby now. In the Spring/Summer/Fall She sleeps on the deck furniture, in the winter she has a heated house on the deck.
Oh how wonderful you are to allow them on your porch. I miss my ferals so much. Thank you for providing them with a little sanctuary. God bless you.
Yeah it woke me right up. So glad she wasn't directly sprayed. Your poor dog though, oh that must have been terrible.
Not super strong, thats why I think she may have brushed against something that was sprayed. I smelled it stronger when I got the mail. Yeah, not pleasant but I still love her, and continue to pet her, give her kisses despite the smell.
My husband said he smelled nothing π«¨, how is that possible?
On Monday night, Lilo either ran into a skunk or happened to brush against a bush that the skunk sprayed at. Early Tuesday morning about 4-5 am, I woke to a very strong scent of skunk spray, oh my goodness, I literally think the smell like me, lol. When I went out to feed Lilo i can smell it on her.
Good morning, everyoneπ. Happy Tuesday. It's currently 69Β°F, with a high of 76Β°F. I hope your weather is cooler. Please stay cool & hydrated, and please put fresh water out for God's precious animals, thank you. Have a blessed dayπ.
My semi feral tortie girl to me. I love her.
Mittens, a handsome tuxedo furbaby. He is a beautiful boy. I love him and hope to get closer over time.
I know its been ages. Most of my ferals disappeared. It saddens me. Why? Where are they? I always put food and water out for them. I miss them so much. Lilo my tortie girl is still here, she stays on our deck. Friendly to me, warming up to my husband. Then there is mittens, a handsome tuxedo.
It's time to start reminding people: LILIES ARE DEADLY FOR CATS. The leaves, the petals, the stem, even drinking a bit of vase water or licking a few grains of pollen from their fur can cause fatal kidney failure. β οΈ https://www.fda.gov/animal-veterinary/animal-health-literacy/lovely-lilies-and-curious-cats-dangerous-combination

See it is swollen, poor baby.
Relaxing in the bushes, where she picks up ticks. I have to remove them.
This one shows how swollen it is compared to the other one.
This is her bed, and two cat houses behind her, the blue one is the one she used during the winter. I had to lower it by removing the feet so she can get in if she wants to. We may get rain soon, so I hope she feels up to it to get in it. Poor baby girl.
My sweet tortie girl Lilo has been on the deck on a little bed. She has the cat house, but she can't get in it. Plus, it's nice out, so lying on the bed will give her some fresh air, and she can rest and not worry about stepping out of the cat house. As long as she is comfortable. I love herβ€οΈ
Please keep her in your prayers. I'll be praying for her return. She looked scared, the poor baby. She purred when I petted her. Please, baby, come back, baby girl.π
I'm worried, because we get coyotes almost every night coming through the back yard, the same area she went through. With her limping on the bad leg, I worry she won't be able to run away if being chased. I just want her here so I can try getting her inside and into a kennel until she heals. πͺ
I went to the backyard, & I didn't see her anywhere. It has been a few hours, it rained some, it has since stopped, and she hasn't returned. There is a possibility she returned and went into her house, which is what I am hoping for. Although I have tried peeking in from the window, its hard to see.
While I went inside to get her some wet food, she moved near the stairs, then she went under the deck, so I came inside to see if she would come back up to eat. But she didn't. I went to look at the camera under the deck, and she was leaving out the other end that goes into our backyard.
I saw Lilo today, she was in her cat house. I got close enough to the house to get her to come out. I noticed hesitation in coming out of her house. Her leg/paw is injured, I am not sure how bad, she limps on it, my poor baby girl.
She is a feral but friendly to me. I cannot afford to take her to a vet, I barely can afford the food i get them. I hope her injury, if injured is not too bad. Momo was had a limp, I was scared for him. But a few days later he was ok. I pray that for Miss Lilo, my sweet tortie girl. β€οΈπΎπ
I noticed as she walked back to get into her house, she was limping. I'll have to check her tomorrow during the day. Sli am glad she came here where she feels safe. Thank God for that. Please keep her and all my ferals in your prayers.
I offered her food, but she didn't move forward. I also noticed she kept her paw up off the ground. I see that a lot when she may bat at you. Her whole demeanor seemed different. I came inside because I didn't want her to be scared.
Today I didn't see Miss Lilo at all until this evening. I am so happy she came home. I brought out her nightly food. She was in her little house. She didn't come out, which is find odd because she normally comes out quickly. When she did come out. I noticed she seemed scared π
Good evening, everyone π It's been very quiet around here with most of my ferals gone, it makes me wonder if someone is hurting them. I pray no one is. I miss my boys so much, I wish only the best for them. ππΎβ€οΈ
My ginger boy, Momo, has not come back. It's almost been a month. I am so heartbroken. I pray that he is well and happy wherever he is. I hope he is with Oreo, because they used to play until Oreo stopped coming around. I miss them and Sammy so much. It's never easy not to see a furbaby return.
I haven't been around much. I have been very busy. I post a lot on my other bluesky account, a little faith, but its mostly about pets, and a lot of memes.
