So in this situation, Kovanni is asserting that "Dogs are the superior pet!" And Lilla, completely disinterested, responds "M'kay..."

Lilla leans away in disgust, "They're toes dumbass!!" *THUD THUD THUD* A loud pounding catches the girls' attention.

The pounding stops and the door knob begins to jiggle violently then SLAMS open. Revealing horrors beyond description. Lilla, recoiling in fear, "Holy shit! What the fuck is happening??!" Lilla's fear is interrupted yet again as Kovanni calls out "LILLA HELP!" Lilla turns to see Kovanni's shape has once more shifted. Her body soft and pliable. From beneath a soft fabric embroidered mouth she shouts "I'VE BEEN TURNED INTO A MARKETABLE PLUSHIE" each word distorting as reality continues to decay. The room breaks apart with an intense rumble as a seemingly endless white void seeps through the cracks.

A picture I drew for last year's pride month where Kovanni goes all out on her pride outfit. Wearing rainbow tights, a skirt with the bisexual colors, a shirt reading "sounds gay...im in" a pansexual button and various other flags and accessories flying all the colors.

If I were to draw Kovanni in her pride outfit, then it's only fair for me to get to share mine. As well. I do own several of the pieces of Kovanni's outfit IRL like the tights, shirt and myriad pins, so it only felt right to add them. This pride month is the most important month for LGBTQ+ recognition so far. While I firmly believe that pride should exist year-round, this month's societal importance should still be taken advantage of. Many of us particularly in recent years, the trans members of the community are facing more and more struggle. The growing transphobia that is propagating through the media and the increasing amount of hate crimes directed at a very vulnerable slice of the population is making an already difficult life all the more difficult. Not to mention the myriad bills and legislation being passed in the US to directly stifle our existence in a thinly veiled attempt to "eradicate" us from society. Now is the best time to show your support to the LGBTQ+ community. Tell your gay trans or intersex friends that they are loved, and their feelings and struggles are valid. We should stand together now more than ever. If you have friends or family that are part of the LGBTQ+ community then reach out to them and remind them how much they are loved and cherished even in these dark times. And if you (like me) are part of the community itself, I love you. You are loved and respected, you are valid, and you deserve to be able to seek the life that fulfills you. If harmful bills or legislation is happening in your area, please call or write to your local representatives and implore them to show us the kindness respect, and more importantly DIGNITY that we deserve as human beings.
