Prince died 10 years ago today. I missed out on one of the biggest music stories because it was my day off between Coachella weekends and I was speaking to college students at Cal State Fullerton all day and ignored my phone because I was presenting in a bunch of sessions.

I have yet to go to a baseball game this season and that’s a problem. Sure, I have been incredibly swamped with work, but…baseball!
Saturday night Strokes dance party in the living room. Just like college! Except nobody is dressed up like a cast member of “The Royal Tenenbaums.” Unironically.
The dancers on the Nine Inch Noize set during “Heresy” at Coachella reminded me of the old teenage hormones sketch from The State.
