Ten years later and I still miss Eye-Fi SD cards. They were so convenient for wireless transfer and geotagging photos in cameras that didn’t offer it.

It's actually refreshing when social media companies kill off their services. Nothing like a good app delete from the phone.
Apple Sports app gets better with each update. It’s nice to have this setting to turn off the betting odds. I really hate seeing the gambling influence during every single interaction with sports.
This photo smells so good.
My thanks to all of you who keep full text available in your RSS feeds. It's the right way.
Occasionally I crave a good bag of Oompas and wish they were still sold. These were the best fruity candies.
I’m not sure how many more slow burn “every-episode-a-mystery” shows I can be interested in. The reboot of Scrubs is more my speed.
One for the car. One for the other car. One for the desk. One for the charging station. And one for a gift. From here on out, clean screens only.
Absolutely love that Apple's AI servers are being made with the help of the best OG servers...
It's red flag week at Nellis Air Force Base so there is a noisy parade of jets over the house all day. I love trying to catch their outline through the clouds.
In a previous post, I talked about how we use Notes app as a family. I had a lot of feedback on that one and promised a similar post for Reminders. It's time.

I've been beta testing this photo culling app for macOS. It's nice to have a place to cull photos quickly and without them uploading to iCloud right away. Once my batch of photos is cleaned up, they go to Photos. Also, great RAW+JPEG support. Signup to test if interested: www.photoculler.com
New UniFi gear makes for a fun afternoon…
The release of tvOS 26.2 brought all sorts of problems for airplay to a HomePod.
Current plan for me is to wait until it fixes itself.
It's strange how the iWork apps haven't been updated for Apple OSes 26 yet.
This looks awesome from @jeffgeerling.com. Sometimes I missing racking and stacking Macs.
Sometimes.

So much of this resonated. Long live personal blogs. What a post! morrick.me/archives/10176

Why are AirPods constantly discounted but Apple TV and HomePods almost never? (Can you tell which two things I need to buy?)
This would make me smile if it wasn’t so true.
Ubiquiti is so random with their release schedule (and their inventory schedule), but it’s fun to be surprised. These look awesome. blog.ui.com/article/intr...
A couple months in and I couldn’t be more pleased with the iPhone 17 Pro. Stays cool and feels great in the hand. The battery life is solid. The camera is noticeably improved in daily use.
I use an auto nightly shortcut that moves all screenshots taken that day to a Files folder. It doesn’t erase the copy in Photos. I just know that I can safely delete any screenshot clogging my photo library as long as it’s older than one day because I have a copy elsewhere. Files search is good.
This is the new .dmg icon? Yikes... (At first glance, I thought it was showing me an unfinished download.)
