I called my reps about this today!

I’m sitting outside the Oakland library in Pittsburgh. I just ate a lamb Kafka sandwich from Ali Baba’s, and I drank an Iced Cherry Chai Latte from Starbucks. The sun is warm on my back and I am rejoicing in this perfect Spring day.

All of the people turning away from the U.S. makes me sad. But I can’t blame them.

Rep. Al Green is a hero. Every single Democrat should have been on their feet following his lead.

I’m so tired and angry with most of the democrats in congress. It discourages me. But then I remind myself to just keep doing the things I can do.

I want them to make a big united gesture that calls out Trump’s authoritarian actions. If not, what are they even doing?

If the Democrats don’t come to this State of the Union tonight spitting mad, then I don’t want to hear any of them.

I’m creating a little cardboard sign for the Stand Up for Science event this Friday, March 7th. One side will say: Respect Science. The other side will say: We ❤️ Scientists.

I’m not surprised by the horrible shit they are making up. I’m angry, but not surprised.

If anyone has been thinking about freezing their credit in this uncertain time, I can tell you it’s easy. I had an Experian account already, I created an account with Trans Union and I called Equifax. It took me about half an hour tops. All three are frozen now.

I bundled up and sat on my deck for 35 minutes today. 50 degrees is not warm, but I wasn’t going to let this milder day pass me by.

I started reading “The Village Library Demon Hunting Society” by C.M. Waggoner. The first act feels like Murder She Wrote, but with a sense of wrongness. I like the main character and am interested to see where this goes.
