Pleased to see that @theshipbuilders.bsky.social copy has so far escaped unscathed from the initial postal battle. I fear the dog, however, isnβt quite done yet.

Stanley has a theory on whodunnit. We're withholding our thoughts until we finish this.

Oh really! I had some very brief interactions with one of those teams when doing my thesis, a very helpful team. But yep, I don't need to tell you about the cuts and squeezes, do I!
Thanks mate
Thanks mate
Dreadful. Just helpless too, nothing anyone can do but wait. Austerity in action, that's for sure man
3! Jesus. It really, really is. It is on the brink
Sorry to hear that Gilles; you're absolutely right. It's completely unsustainable. By design, one fears..
Nearly 48 hours later and he's on a ward.. but without a bed. Two days sat in a chair on a drip. No toilet paper in toilets, no cutlery for the meagre food provided. The infrastructure in this country is absolutely on its knees, it's utterly heartbreaking.
Absolutely. I work in a CMHT and can vouch for this equally. Urgh.
One hundred percent mate, absolutely
'mon the Scots!
Yeah?! Sign me up, mate
Thanks Saiph
Miserable, isn't it
Aye, can't disagree there.
Crikey, that's awful. Hope you're better now
Won't somebody think of the shareholders!
Thanks Maddie - and I hope your mum is ok too
Sound, I'll let everyone there know, thanks.
As I said, shite.
That's lovely of you, thank you
Supporting Mick Head? In our hometown? In one of our favourite venues?
Don't mind it mate, don't mind it one bit.
GERRIN!
Absolutely. Vermin
That's awful, I hope you're doing better now
On every level, I agree. And thanks Sally
Yeah, a chair. Mercifully he's on a ward now, 30 hours later! Thanks for the kind wishes
I've had a lot of responses to this, which is mad. Thank you for the vast majority of well wishes, my Dad has now finally, after 30 hours, been moved to a bed.
A lot of Yanks have weighed in; I don't have the energy to get into it with them. Fight for a better health service there, you mad bastards
Oh I'm very prepared to spend, pal, and expect everyone else to. I'm not after perfection, I just want my taxes - which I'm more than happy to pay - to be used in funding our NHS, and in turn, have people receive a service which doesn't leave someone on a drip in a waiting room for 30 hours. See?
Thanks for the kind wishes.
