This Isn't Trading. It's Theft from Your Retirement. Someone keeps making perfectly-timed bets right before the President speaks. The victims are your pension, your 401(k), and the country I took an oath to defend.

Fifteen minutes before the President announced he was pausing strikes on Iran, somebody moved $500 million in oil futures. Somebody knew. Somebody told them. Or somebody is them.

RFK Jr.’s No-Good-But-Maybe-Not-That-Bad Week The CDC is in line to get a normie director—but it will still be tough to escape Kennedy and his anti-vaccine crusade.

The administration’s new choice to lead the CDC is Erica Schwartz, a Brown University-educated physician who served as deputy surgeon general during Trump’s first term. The RFK Jr. types aren't happy.

Roper: Hunger strikers say the government is wrong about incinerator’s risks. I don’t buy it. Let’s boost recycling rates before closing the garbage burner near downtown Minneapolis.

Eric Roper was wrong about the city's pedestrian and bike coordinator position (he railed against it at the time), wrong about criminalizing syringe possession, and wrong about HERC.

Don't buy this happy horseshit that we're going to recycle our way out of blowing toxins into poor neighborhoods.

As we try to figure out how to help someone whose spouse is “self-deporting” after an asylum hearing went south with a horrid immigration “judge” and they still sent him in chains to some US concentration camp first—I think Craig’s cruel votes against immigrants should haunt her forever.

The FBI Director Is MIA Kash Patel has alarmed colleagues with episodes of excessive drinking and unexplained absences.

Kash Patel has to be on firing watch — according to The Atlantic, he struggled to log into a computer with his credentials & started to “freak out” assuming he had been fired — he was really just too drunk to correctly input a password, oof 🤦🏻‍♂️

An investigation has been opened by House Democrats into criminal slumlord Jared Kushner for falsely operating as a negotiator whilst corruptly securing billions of dollars in dark monry investments for himself.

Good, finally.

The Pope's response is stellar. 💪🏼

Thank you for writing this, and laying it out so clearly! I have been writing a letter to the editor response to Rochelle Olson in my head, but I knew it would not be published,so that decreased my motivation. Glad to call out the Strib for its tired approach and sloppy journalism re: City Hall.

Truly remarkable how many people have told the Pope, in some way or another, to "shut up and dribble." Or corrected him on the Bible, despite their thin education on theology. Or told him to stay out of US affairs, despite him being a US citizen. The hubris is amazing.
