Telegraph newspaper editorial on Mandelson's appointment in December 2024 versus editorial today

Well let's see how this strategy of telling "white liberals" to "fuck right off" works out in the local elections
Sold for hammer price of £600 today. They're modern antiques now... forget about the grandparents' Staffordshire dogs and things like that - who will want them 30 years from now?

WHY DID BBC BREAKFAST GIVE REFORM UK A SPECIAL GRAPHIC?
A small detail in a brief report sparks some big questions about what the national broadcaster is doing during the run up to local and national elections.

Lies Industry UK - Sopel from News Agents podcast now:
“Starmer must resign because he appointed Mandelson.”
Sopel then:
“Mandelson is a class act.”

What Starmer didn’t do.
I interviewed Lando Norris and the world champion was open, honest and articulate. And then his management stepped in to police and muzzle him in an attempt to "control the narrative."
From then on it did not go too well....this is what happened.

...and talking of which: another day, another Eastern Daily Press front page bashing the Greens. It's almost as if Newsquest/Archant doesn't want them to have any election success because only Reform old gits buy the paper for news now!
Today's Norwich Evening News non-story splash: Unthank Road Airbnb landlord "outraged" over “jobsworth behaviour” complaint about apartments lacking council permission. Not a "kerfuffle", rather someone who broke the rules. Of course, he'd be in the wrong if he was a member of the Greens...
Done.
Good luck with that. Henry Zeffman comes across as a real man of the people - private school, PPE at Oxford and then the Times!
A one-off, or any provincial dates in the offing?
OMFG I had to go and check that this ACTUALLY happened.
Since when does the BBC ever do chyrons with a political party's branding, rather than their own? Not to mention this is during a pre-election campaign purdah.

Inevitable as night following day...

Peak Telegraph! Won't somebody please think of the poor oppressed Reform students...

Not much political judgement going on here if Isabel Oakeshott does not realise that Farage & Tice are senior members of the British establishment. Relevant here is that Oakeshott is the partner of Richard Tice jumping to the defence of Tice & his tax evasion.
Fewer Reform MPs presumably means more Tories.
We're going to get something at Hull on May 2, and help Wrexham get in the playoffs, aren't we? Then the "fairytale" continues...

Richard tax-cheat Tice.
And remember when Farage’s partner bought his Clacton house somehow, so he could avoid paying taxes on it?
That is all Reform UK Party Ltd exists for: money.
And let's not forget this front page, effectively glorifying Rupert Lowe putting up flags across Great Yarmouth. Whatever anyone might think of former editors Peter Franzen, Pete Waters, Nigel Pickover or longstanding news editor Paul Durrant, they'd never have okayed this shameful effort.
An issue with Great Yarmouth First is that local media are not putting them under scrutiny. Top of the list is Newsquest editor Richard Porritt, once of the New European, whose staff churn out stuff from the likes of Reform verbatim without a single critical question:

Funnily enough I put Radio Suffolk on to see how the game was going just as the penalty was awarded. Brenner Woolley and Mick Mills were convinced it was a penalty... having seen the pictures now all I can say is this how they're going to get promoted now? A joke. Middlesbrough were Backhoused.
There photos of three Middleborough fans documenting their away trip to Ipswich These Middlesbrough fans have travelled to lpswick away for today's game via a night awav in night in Magaluf, which all worked out cheaper than getting the train direct. -air play to them, but more needs to be done with the scandalous train prices in this country..
This says it all about the state of public transport in the UK

For anyone taking David Bull seriously, I have a photo to share with you…

He’s a weapons-grade knob. And Chairman of Reform.
This tells you all you need to know.
Desperate, desperate stuff. One of the Tory MPs called by the Mail on Sunday was Saqib Bhatti - no, me neither. He voted for Truss in 2022, which rules out any credibility he might think he has. Gabriel Millard-Clothier has been a reporter for eight months - guess which party he used to work for?!?
