New paper! We show how diet culture & weight stigma are baked into eating disorder treatment—leading to missed diagnoses in higher-weight people, BMI-based denial of care, thin-centric programs, and clinicians unintentionally reinforcing fear of weight gain.

Louisville eating disorder clinic loses $300,000 to Trump's anti-diversity push • Kentucky Lantern University of Louisville clinic that treats and researches eating disorders has lost nearly $300,000 in federal funding because of anti-DEI directives.

“This harms everyone- Everybody knows somebody that has an eating disorder. We might not talk about it a lot, but the work that we’re doing on my team is making a huge impact to stop eating disorders.
