As a marketing tool, podcasting is great for building an audience. It's a long road but a gratifying one.

But the thing I LOVE about podcasting are the relationships you can build with your guests that continue long after the episode is recorded.

Focus on that and not just the figures ✌️ #Podcasts

The air today feels very calm, doesn't it? Spring is slowly introducing itself to us.

Editing a podcast with the sun coming in through the window and a light breeze with it.

I'm here for this level of working tranquility.

TOTP from 1999 is on the telly.

I want to go to bed but I'm back at Mum & Dad's for half term.

It's genuinely like being back in 1999.

I could stay up a bit longer. And have a bottle of Metz...

Spend most of January event hosting. Spending all of today bookshelf clearing. Freelance life is contrasting.

But now I've finally got the audio from Riverside I can spend tomorrow doing some podcasting.

Who would like to invest in my barber business? It's called Hairy Stylez and all the hair cuts are side partings that just go in one direction.

This morning I have said to my 5-year-old:
"Let's focus on getting dressed and then you can watch Robson & Jerome."

Did you tell them you and he very much live separate lives?

Yesterday my 8-year-old told me he was grounding me.

He explained that meant I would “have to lay on the settee, on my own, and read a book all day.”

He’s clearly mistaken grounding someone for granting a little wish.

Tonight I’m sleeping on a blow up bed. I’m literally floating on air. Which is also an expression I wouldn’t choose to use about how I feel having to sleep on a blow up bed.

I am considering setting up a grass mowing service where people pay over time at a high rate of interest.

I shall be called The Lawn Shark.

Luther: Never Too Much is as good as I hoped it would be. When everyone at school was listening to Cypress Hill or Thunder, I was listening to Luther Vandross. Also, I did not know Richard Marx co-wrote “Dance With My Father.”

Podcast Listeners: How many is a good many? How do you measure success when you're stepping into a new world?

Some thoughts about podcasting figures. This isn't taken from stats and research; it's based on 25 years of broadcasting. So a theory, but also a reason to have faith and not chase the figures, nor lose sight of why you're doing it.

Hi BlueSky. I don’t know if this algorithm request works… but if it does. Let me be enriched by:

Authors
Writers
Podcasters
Gardeners
Hikers
Photographers
Artists
Parents
Parent writers
Radio people.

But overall… positive souls. ♥️

When “The Day We Caught The Train” comes on the radio, it sounds as brilliant as it ever did. What times.

Yesterday I interviewed a dog on live TV. I think that’s the first time I’ve interviewed a dog, live. I hope it’s not the last. #DogTV #Interviewer #PoochCam

My fiancée and I are halfway through episode 2 of The Traitors and I don’t have a clue what’s going on. People clapping each other when they walk into the room. Although that is nice.

Ever wondered how many modes of transport are referenced throughout Chris De Burgh’s 1989 album “Spark to a Flame”?

Well, thanks to an hour at my computer earlier, you need wonder no more.

You’re welcome.

What was the name of your Nan or Grandad's friend that you still remember the name of without ever having met them.

My Grandad's friend was AJ (pronounced "adge") Walker.
My Nan's was Dillys Pearce.

I never met either of them but I know those names 20+ years after my grandparents died.

This morning i volunteered to clean the bathroom so i could listen to the end of this. Brilliant again @mhairim.bsky.social ♥️

Also, may I recommend Sainsbury’s Sage & Eucalyptus Green Care bathroom cleaner for that cleansed-aura-meets-koala-lunch feel.

Working on a TV pitch called The Loyalty People. It's like The Traitors but in the tasks, people have to stick with other people as they make really bad decisions.
