The Detroit Pistons crowd is booing the Orlando Magic half as hard as Michigan Democrats have booed AIPAC candidate Haley Stevens earlier today:

Oooooof. That's certainly not what you want to see when you're in a distant third in your senate primary.

And here's Chris Pappas' video for posterity.

Note that Iran also claims that their water desalination plant was struck (also a war crime), and now Bahrain, which has a U.S. Naval Base, claims that Iran has struck *their* water desalination plant.

A lot of people are still in the denial about how much the median Democratic voter, the median Democratic volunteer, and the median Democratic activist has shifted on a variety of issues. Well here's the handpicked candidate of Chuck Schumer being booed, about Gaza, at the Dem convention.

Is anyone still in denial that Schumer has a preference for candidates who possess views wildly out of step with the base of the party

The reporter's original tweet used "very audible and prolonged booing"

First reported by Beth LeBlanc of @detroitnews.com,

U.S. Rep. Haley Stevens, who is running for U.S. Senate, was loudly and prolongedly booed at the Michigan Democratic Party convention.

First it was Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens leaving the state during a water crisis to hang out with his frat bros and fundraise for his successful reelection.

Then it was a broken escalator at the train station literally snapping the bones of Beyonce fans.

Now it's the cops. Atlanta ain't ready.

“Y’all got some tough ass police over here, the white and the Black. They all mean. Atlanta police is tough.”

“I’m pissed off right now... This will be the last time I’m ever in this bitch.”

She's right. Atlanta has embarrassed Megan Thee Stallion, Beyonce, and Cardi B in three consecutive years.

I'm so glad this brave law enforcement officer is OK after being violently smirked at. Praying for him and his family

Okay so THAT'S why there was so much congestion in Midtown Atlanta: I forgot there was Atlanta Streets Alive!

The 2pm start time contributing to my bus delays makes more sense now.

These bulldozers have literally one purpose and one only and that's to violate international law via the systematic destruction of civilians property. That's why 40 out of 47 Democrats voted against selling them to Israel.

There exists a plausible scenario where the Nazi tattoo guy, winning in a landslide, casts the deciding vote in a leadership spill to depose the first and only Jewish Senate Majority Leader in United States history, and Chuck Schumer is doing his best to make that happen

And the effect becomes even more pronounced in a heavily Black, heavily depopulating smaller state like Mississippi

If the refs are in the pocket of OKC and call that a flagrant anyway, then Dillon Brooks needs to swing harder and make sure the Thunder limp into the next round

It took George W. Bush almost 8 years to reach 50% of the public "strongly" disapproving of him. Trump did it in like 14 months

Suburban Mississippi blue shifting even for Kamala Harris is something you have to see it to believe it

Oh I completely forgot MS. Cindy Hyde-Smith is not exactly popular in Mississippi.

At the very least, round up overperformance average we've seen on @the-downballot.com Big Board to +13 and use that

In the very very extreme outlier scenario, Dems flip NC ME IA TX KS NE, with FL SC in play.

51 seats is not the Dem ceiling

Just got dropped off at the block where I live.

Unlike the NB trip, the 39-minute SB ride to go 4.9 miles is slower than driving. It is still an upgrade over the train because I don't need to walk in the rain or the sun, and there are fewer unruly riders. I think I will take the bus more.

5 hours ago 5 0 1 0

It took 34 minutes for the return to King Memorial :/

HOWEVER, because the bus has been extended south and west, I'm staying on the bus and I don't need to walk home! And I ran into @atlurbanist.bsky.social again!
