Nice to have a proper tech demo at a health event - go to a terminal window to see the details. Brian Postlethwaite from Microsoft Research showing some #FHIR server work at the #HL7 symposium in Sydney today.

The irrepressible George Margelis opens the #itac2025 conference on technology in aged care. Looking forward to two days of good discussions and insights.
Updates look great, but I wish Apple had included the nano texture glass too 😔
This one was heaps of fun - thank you Faruk 🙏🏻
(BTW, it sure is nice to see your account on a social media platform with the right handle!)
Was great to have you in the room for the recent Melbourne #sparked workshops Joe.
Kicking things off with @ecoiera.bsky.social at today’s health AI conference in Melbourne. Very useful scorecard and update on progress in AI for health in the last year. (Spoiler - it’s a lot of activity!) #digitalhealth
Hi @kebrill.bsky.social - nice to see you here!
Was a great event - thanks to the whole #sparked community.
Super-exciting news from Down Under: today Health Minister Butler introduced legislation to Parliament to mandate sharing of pathology results and medical imaging to patients through the #MyHealthRecord portal. We call it #ShareByDefault 😎🥰🥳

Great to see you both!
For those of you for whom #Sparked on #FHIR is new. Basically its an Australian-wide initiative to make sure our health infornation and diverse health system is #interoperable No more proprietary APIs and no #Informationblocking It’s industry+clinical+govt led. Very cool! 😎 sparked.csiro.au
Great point from Graeme Grieve about the two vital parts for #FHIR implementation - an enthusiastic bottom up standards program (aka #sparked in Australia), and solid top down leadership from government.
Fantastic that we have both of those things in #digitalhealth in Australia at present. Huzzah.
Feels like the old days of social media when I’m reposting @drlouiseschaper.bsky.social about digital health 😆
First post here, and of course it’s from a #digitalhealth event. Listening to Daniel McCabe from Dept Health discussing the forward path for an interoperable health system in Australia.
The Sparked program and #fhir work is pushing this whole space ahead at speed. Good stuff.
